Visiting Austrian Chancellor Viktor Klima held talks on Thursday with President Nelson Mandela and donated R1-million rand to the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund. Klima, on the last day of a three-day visit, announced the donation during wide-ranging talks at Mandela's official Cape Town residence. "This is just a small donation which we believe is important in giving the young generation hope," he said. The leaders also discussed the conflicts gripping many countries in Africa and Kilma praised South Africa's efforts in trying to negotiate a peaceful end to some of these crises.
